The Tropicana Resort & Casino, situated on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, is owned and managed by Columbia Sussex. The main hotel building comprises of 61,000 sq-ft (5700 sq. m.) of casino space, 110,000 sq-ft (10,000 sq. m.) of convention & exhibit space, and 1871 rooms. Established in 1957, the main original building is located at the Tropicana-Las Vegas Boulevard Intersection. The Paradise Tower and the Tiffany Tower were constructed in 1979 and 1986 respectively. The Tropicana Resort is connected to the Excalibur in the west and MGM Grand Las Vegas in the north.

The present amenities offered by the Tropicana include a world-class spa, comedy club, a showroom, numerous shops, and a swimming pool. The Resort is best recognized for Folies Bergere, the classic Las Vegas Showgirls show offering topless shows in the Tiffany Theater every night. Titanic-the Artifacts Exhibitions at Tropicana feature over 300 artifacts from the ocean liner.

Other shows featured at the Resort include Bodies: the Exhibition, a respectful presentation of 21 human bodies that have been dissected and preserved for the collection, and Xtreme Magic, a production show starring Dirk Arthur, featuring tigers and leopards. The Tropicana Casino offers video poker machines, more than 1,400 red-hot slots, and great Las Vegas table games, such as craps, blackjack, and blackjack. The Tropicana is, no doubt, an award-wining destination where one can enjoy non-stop Las Vegas action.
