wynn casino

The Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Country Club, situated on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, is an AAA five-diamond casino resort named after casino developer Steve Wynn. This flagship property of Wynn Resorts Limited encompasses a total area of over 215 acres (87 hectares). It houses 2716 rooms; an 111,000 sq-ft casino space; a 76,000 sq. ft. (10,300 sq. m.) retail space; and a 223,000 sq. ft. (20,700 sq. m.) convention center.

Designed by Jon Jerde, Wynn Las Vegas was inaugurated on April 28, 2005. When it opened, it was the tallest building on the Strip and had the largest installation of Voice over IP technology for hotel phones. It also had the world’s largest distribution of HDTV in hotel rooms. Wynn Las Vegas is also the world’s first casino to have included a luxury car dealership, which deals with the Ferrari and Maserati brands. The dealership is located near the valet parking of the resort. Other major attractions at the resort include a large, curtain waterfall behind a mountain facing the Strip and the Lake of Dreams, a show produced by displaying images on the waterfall and the lake into which it falls. This Show can be viewed from either Parasol Up or Parasol Down.

Wynn Las Vegas is also home to Le Reve, a 1-million gallon water-oriented theater, created by Franco Dragone. The major nightclubs at the Resort include the Tryst and Blush, while the major restaurants include Alex, Okada, Corsa Cucina, Sugar & Ice; and the Terrace Point Café. The Wynn Las Vegas also features a number of shopping stores and boutiques, including the Wynn Esplanade Shoppes and In Wynn Las Vegas. Other amenities offered at the resort include the Wynn Golf and Country Club, the Tower Suites, and the Villa suites.
