The Museum of International Folk Art, one of the eight museums managed by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was established in the year 1953 by Florence Dibell Bartlett. The Museum is situated at the center of the Museum Hill Cultural District at Santa Fe. It also shares the famous Milner Plaza with another world class museum, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture/ Laboratory of Anthropology.

The Museum claims to have the largest collection of folk art in the world. This unique collection has over 135,000 artifacts exhibited in four different wings: Girard, Neutrogena, Bartlett, and Hispanic Heritage. The Girard Wing is well known for its permanent exhibition, named Multiple Visions: A Common Bond. This exhibition exhibits popular art, folk art, textiles, and toys from over 100 nations. This extraordinary exhibition was designed by a renowned designer and architect, Alexander Girard. The Girard exhibition was set up in 1982 and the collection it holds comprises of 106,000 objects, including costumes, masks, dolls, toys, religious folk art, textiles of all kinds, beadwork, and paintings.

The exalted Neutrogena Collection at the Museum was established in 1995 by Lloyd Cotsen, former CEO of Neutrogena. This collection consists of over 2,500 textiles, carvings, and ceramics from all over the world. It is, in fact, considered to be a national resource for the study of international costumes and textiles. The Hispanic Heritage Wing, on the other hand, holds the largest collection of the Spanish Colonial folk art in the United States. The Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) is a great learning experience and it attracts thousands of scholars, students, scholars, and museum visitors from around the globe.
