The Roger Maris Baseball Museum, situated in Fargo, North Dakota, is housed in the famous West Acres Shopping Center. This Museum commemorates Roger Maris’ former record of 61 homers in one season. The museum’s theater features a video of the life of Roger Maris. The seats in this theater are originally from the famous Yankee Stadium. The extensive collection at the Museum comprises of Roger memorabilia, including Roger’s uniforms, his home run balls, his Sultan of Swat Crowns, and many of his bats.

The original Roger Maris Museum was established in 1984 by Jim McLaughlin. The Museum was completely renovated by the West Acres in 2003. Today, the main attractions in the Museum include an expanded collection of videos, a replica of Roger’s Yankee Stadium Monument, artifacts and displays from Roger’s youth and Major League playing days, a replica of Roger’s 1961 locker, and many other artifacts restored from the original museum. The Roger Maris Museum attracts millions of visitors every year and allows them to experience again the legendary life of Roger Maris.
