Deepwood Estate

deepwood estate main house

The Deepwood Estate shows one of Oregon's premium examples of an elaborated, multi-gabled home of Queen Anne style. Deepwood House’s architecture was decided by W.C. Knighton, well-known northwest architect, whose highly appreciated designs involve the Oregon Supreme Court Building.

Deepwood House describes a range of complicated and original details – Povey stained glass windows, unique 1894 electric light equipments and eastern golden oak carpentry and much other stuff. The architecture and the way this is designed is remarkable.
English style gardens of 1930's type were made by the first female landscape architecture firm from Northwest.

The 5.5 acres (2.2 ha) of area of Deepwood consists of outdoor wedding gardens, gazebos, the original carriage house and the Rita Steiner Fry Nature Trail.
Because of its elegant architecture, it is famous as "A Jewel in the Heart of Salem."
People come here for celebrations, visits and many more activities. It is run by the profits earned by heavy events organized here now and then.

This has become a favorite place for those who want to either celebrate any occasion of their life or any other event that exemplifies elegancy. Many people prefer this place for a wedding. This serves as a warm meeting place for Events, Tours, Classes, Business meetings, Programs, Private celebrations, Victorian Teas, Dinners and Weddings. Memories created here are long lasting and a visit to Deepwood Estate leaves an impression of great architecture and design.
