The Pinnacles

Pinnacles, located in Oregon, United States, are spectacular spiky towers formed several years ago by erosion of volcanic ash. They are surrounded by scenic areas and natural beauty. These magnificent, unusual colorful shapes are great objects for photography. These spiky formations are present all along the Sand Creek. However, the most impressive site is located at the end of the road at the Pinnacles Overlook.
Unfortunately, the Pinnacles Overlook is often missed by the visitors. The turn-off is just near the Phantom Ship Overlook on the Rim Drive.
Pinnacles are known for several recreational activities like Trad Climbing, hiking, aid climbing, and scrambling. These are accessible during spring, summer, fall, and winter.
