Classical Chinese Garden

classical chinese garden

The Classical Chinese Garden is filled with amazing waterways and pavilions that you will give your eyes a wonderful gift of sight. It is about 40,000 square feet (4,000 m²) in size and located the Chinatown area like the Saturday Market.

The rich and unique garden was built by a total of 65 workers that was completed in the year of 2000.  Many who visit have said they have said the garden has a Chinese feel about it with many of its plants of those located in China.

The Classical Chinese Garden expresses the China cultural like training plants meticulously throughout the growing season resulting in the traditional, larger-than-life blooms treasured by the Chinese.

Plants in classical Chinese gardens were grown as much for their symbolic and literary associations as for their beauty. Ancient pine trees are valued as symbols of longevity and for their spirits.

If you visit the garden, you will see that it might resemble a maze as you walk in with its pathways and how easily you could lose your way. Much new generation of Americans of Asian decent visit the Classical Chinese Garden to educate the global community in the appreciation of a richly authentic Chinese culture in North America.
