Oregon Zoo

The Oregon Zoo is visited many thousands each other and a fan favorite to many children for school trips. The Zoo is located downtown of Portland, Oregon and is home to many and unique animals.
The Oregon Zoo opened in the year of 1887 and has an area of 64 acres. The Oregon Zoo is home to a special animal in particular which is an Asian Elephant that was given the name “Packy” which was born in 1962. Many visitors come to zoo each year to see Packy and the zoo, which is home to the worlds largest breeding program.
The Oregon Zoo includes the Alaskan tundra exhibit and the Cascade Crest exhibit. The zoo also features the Wells Fargo Summer Concert Series from June through August.
There is really no reason why you shouldn’t take a visit to the Oregon Zoo if you haven’t been to one in a while. It will restore your love for animals and bring back the great memories you had as a child while visiting the Zoo.
