The Pearl District is known for its unique but fun First Thursday events that take place the first Thursday of every month.
You will see many of the regions places stay open longer and have more specials going on to attract visitors. You will see new buildings in the area such as the Elizabeth Lofts at 9th and Everett. One of the newer additions to the Pearl District is the five-block development on the southern edge known as The Brewery Blocks. Basically every unit on the market in late 2005 had an asking price of $400 to $450 per square foot. However, many don’t mind the price and feel happy with the outcome with their new homes.
For a city full of youth and joy, the Pearl District looks to be the center of it and is ready to grow with one of the most economic flourishing cities in the nation.
