It offers a whole new Wild Old West experience and is sure to amaze and delight people of all ages. The Museum features a number of interactive displays and emphasizes primarily on “edutainment”, that is, learning while having fun. The Buckhorn Saloon & Museum actually comprises of five different museums. Besides the regular special exhibits, the Museum has Horns, Feathers, Fins, and The Hall of Texas History Wax Museum.

Other major attractions at the Saloon & Museum are the San Antonio classic bar and the Curio Store. The Curio Store, established in 1920 by Albert Friedrich, is considered to the “Oddest Store in the World”. It is filled with rare, unique, odd, and downright weird stuff, such as t-shirts, batteries, forgotten films, mugs, antique Native American beaded gloves, homemade goods, etc. With its motto, "Honest Goods and Honest Dealin's", the Curio Store is still very popular among the residents and the tourists. The back bar, on the other hand, has been hand-crafted of cherry wood and marble. The Saloon also houses a traditional café, a game room, and a conventional arcade. At the Buckhorn Saloon & Museum, one can actually experience the Old West through the sounds of the cattle drive and the smell of the tanned leather!
