Manson

Manson is included in Chelan County, Washington. It is not an incorporated community and thus, not tracked by the Census Bureau. This beautiful village is situated in the north-central portion of the state and is about 7 miles (11 km) from the City of Chelan.

Manson, located on the shore of Lake Chelan, is a beautiful place and has a lot to offer to its tourists. One can enjoy in Manson at anytime and in any season of the year. Warm, sunny days and beautiful apple blossoms in the orchards make this place worth a visit in the spring.  In the summer, fishing, swimming, and boating in Lake Chelan are the major activities. Parks, restaurants, golf courses, and shops are not very crowded in the fall.  Winter is the best season to enjoy in Manson. The beauty of the crystal clear sunny days and that of the snow on the hills, orchards, and mountains is breathtaking.

Manson is a great place for shopping, boating, dining, and relaxing. Manson is known for its beautiful public parks. Manson Bay Park, situated adjacent to downtown Manson, offers great swimming opportunities. Spending a night in the new Marina is an exhilarating experience. Another great place to break away from the crowds and relax on the shores of Lake Chelan is the Mill Bay Park. It is the best boat launch in Chelan and has wide boat ramps with a large dock space. However, swimming is not allowed here. 

A few miles north of downtown Manson lies the Willow Point Park. This beautiful park, situated off Lake Shore Drive, is a secret jewel of Lake Chelan. It offers protected swimming, barbeque, and picnic facilities. Camping facilities are available at Kamei RV Park and Campground situated near Wapato Lake, Manson. This lake is a great site for boating, fishing, and relaxing. Another major attraction in Manson is the Manson Apple Blossom Festival and Parade that is organized every year on the second weekend of May.
