Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center

The Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center, commonly referred as ‘Odyssey’, rejoices the Northwest’s inimitable maritime character, offering a place for group of all ages to realize the contemporary influence of maritime community on our lives. It is situated on waterfront at the Bell Street Pier in Seattle. Odyssey provides an amazing sight of Elliott Bay and our marine atmosphere.
Odyssey is a local showcase where a lot of people discover the modern relations to the North Pacific and Puget Sound -- together with shipping, trade, commercial fishing, transport marine protection and recreation. Odyssey tells tales of marine wildlife depicted at the Seattle Aquarium, the Pacific Science Center, and the Museum of Flight. The centre complements the area’s historic maritime museums as well by contributing a current perspective.
Through energetic, hands-on experience, everybody can find out the nuts and bolts of a functioning waterfront, which are supposed to be the ABC of nautical processes, and the newest in commercial fishing skills and technology. You can find out about the many vessels and boats that one can observe everyday, study about our pledge to environmental maintenance, and restoration. You can observe and do activities that are generally not available to the public.
