Seattle Aquarium

The Seattle Aquarium is a part of the Seattle Aquarium Society, which is an official and non-profit fund raising organization made to run the Seattle Aquarium. The donations towards the Aquarium help the aquarium to run.

The aquarium follows a very important mission and that is - Inspiring conservation of our marine environment. The Seattle Aquarium is directed by a Board of Directors and led by Robert W. Davidson, who is its CEO.

‘Splash’ is a main annual fund raising event of the Seattle Aquarium. The Seattle Aquarium Society favors and directs a membership program that too helps in raising funds.

The main exhibits of the Seattle Aquarium are as follows -

  • Searching for Six gills
  • Life of a Drifter
  • Birds and Shores
  • Pacific Coral Reef
  • Ocean Oddities
  • Puget Sound Fish
  • Marine Mammals
  • Underwater Dome

The exhibits, each of them have own stories of it. For example, ‘Life on the Edge’ allows guests to experience the tide pool life in the Seattle's inland sea and in the outer coast of Washington. Big video screens assist demonstrate the only one of its kind lifestyles of the remarkable creatures who not only continue to exist, but flourish in the insensitive environmental circumstances of Washington's tidal zones.

Another attraction, Life of a Drifter, exhibits some of the Puget Sound's most strange creatures to see. You can touch and discover in a way you want.
The Seattle Aquarium is a very good place to visit if somebody wants to feel the life of these creatures.
