The Virginia Inn is in fact the best nosh place in Seattle where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the delicious in-between meals. It is located on Fist Avenue, just above the Pike Place Market. This art-decorated inn serves as a vivacious social hub that spills out onto the sidewalk in pleasant weather. Most of the people who hang around in this place are local young professionals. Therefore, this Inn comes alive only after the office hours.
During the summer, it is a great experience to dine at this pleasant and trendy corner tavern while enjoying its outdoor seating. Breathtaking, crystalline views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound are offered at the two special tables on the Virginia Street side. However, smoking is not allowed here. A warning on the entrance door of the inn proclaims, “We Be Smoke Free”!
Small dinner plates and Hors d'oeuvres make an ideal snack or a light dinner with a glass of wine. The Virginia Inn is known for its tangy tapenade, crisp salads, heralded crab cake, soulful soups, and the satisfying chicken-sausage gumbo. Besides serving beer and wine, the Inn also offers a full bar. On the first Monday of every month, the wait staff and the patrons speak French.
Great location, elegant sidewalk tables, delicious food, good service, friendly and welcoming wait staff, people watching, and a relaxing atmosphere makes Virginia Inn the perfect place to unwind. However, the place gets overcrowded at times owing to too few seats available here.
